Easy to install, great sound quality,and awesome intercom system. Easy to figure out how to use as well. As long as you somewhat have a line of sight probably up to 1000 feetm, we can hear each other as day. We never have to take our helmets off to each other anymore which is awesome. Not sure how far the connection would last in a heavily wooded area, but that is expected. Music quality is great ans we love being able to music as we ride. Overall, extremely happy with this purchase,especially at this price point. Amazing customer service as well. Earns every of the 5 star

I read the reviews first before making this purchase. This is my first headset so I really can't compare it to anything else. My experience so far has been nothing but great though. The sound comes in crisp and clean at 90mph without any windshield or fairing, while only being turned up to 3/4 volume. I can have a clear conversation with someone at 90mph as well. The person on the other end it amazed at how clear the sound is without any wind noise. The setup was a breeze and it is very easy to use. The LED light on the side can be changed to different colors and different strobes if you want, or if you prefer it can be turned off. I can't speak on the pairing headsets to headsets because I haven't used that feature yet. I left my phone in my house and walked to the other end of the street and I still had connectivity. The unit is small and not wide at all which was a giant plus for me. If you buy this you won't regret it. Only thing I regret is not buying a headset years ago, it has made my evening riding trips more enjoyable.

Wow! This unit easy go far! Easily over 2000 feet between two devices and the voice still clear. The thing is, it must be in open area or line of sight. Any building shorten the distance to half.
Speaker is loud but lack some low end due to distance from my ears. Mic with foam wind sock works great. Without the foam wind sock, it will have wind noise. Mic is clear.
Pairing is bit harder to understand at first. Customer service is great help and clear that up for me. It is hard to find good CS A+
OH. Battery! I rode 40 miles and I still haven't drain the battery to zero.
I wish GMax come with a spare tape-on clip for the Gmax unit. This way i can use the unit in my full face helmet also.
